Acceptance is an essay away!
Review your Facebook postings
The College Essay Whiz says:
Review your Facebook postings before you apply to schools!
"Took my AP American exam sooo stoned!"
"Almost got caught shoplifting the necklace I wanted."
The College Essay Whiz will not deny that we state “Find us on Facebook.” If you check out our Facebook page, you’ll see lots of links to articles, information, blogs, and our own website. On a personal level, we also enjoy viewing photos and readings postings of family, friends and colleagues. It is puzzling, however, when we read postings and see photos that are in questionable taste, to say the least.
Aspiring college applicants might want to rethink some of their postings before they send in their applications. According to My College Admissions Blog posted on MYCOLLEGECALENDAR.ORG:
“Many colleges and universities review social networking sites (i.e., Facebook.com) on which student applicants have posted information. If students have profanity, pornography, or immoral, disgusting or vulgar language and photographs on their internet social network accounts, and this information is discovered by college admission officers, the student may be denied admission to college.”

Testimonials
As for the college preparation months which every high school student approaches with anxiety and fear, I know that my college application process would not have passed as smoothly or successfully without Mrs. Kashman's guidance, eagerness to help, and patience. Mrs. Kashman sat down with me until we thought of the best topic for me to write about for my college essay. She revised several drafts of it until it was ready to be sent to colleges. Besides her excellent knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, her suggestions truly led my college essay to great heights. She also assisted me with any other supplements which I was required to write for college applications. Mrs. Kashman always returned my writing revisions within a day or two of submitting them. She was always willing to help me and answer any questions I had during the application process. Mrs. Kashman has many years of experience helping students prepare for college. She is an intelligent, fun, friendly, and sincere individual, who I was honored to have met and worked with so closely.
