Since it was a last minute decision to apply to graduate school, when I contacted MK, I did not have much time and wanted to complete my application within two weeks.　The　quick and efficient　worker　she is, she　responded　to me with her initial comments and corrections by e-mail within 24, and we　met once　to finalize the essay together.　I was able to send my application to the school by the end of the week, and it was one of the most beautiful and eloquent essays I have ever written.　 She did not take my voice out of my writing (which tends to happen when someone corrects one’s writing); it flowed more naturally; unnecessary details were　removed to meet the word count,　and of course,　she made it　a fun and enjoyable experience for me.　I was accepted in to the program shortly afterwards. It was late in the application stage when I first sat down with Mrs. Kashman, and I felt overwhelmed by the daunting personal statement application requirement.
